Here is a modest audio-visual piece that I just completed inspired by the particularity of an incredible landscape > The fabulous
“Daintree” Rainforest, which is located in tropical North Queensland, Australia.
This rainforest is over 135 million years old, making it the oldest rainforest on our small planet
and it is the largest rainforest in Australia. It has a surface area of over 1,200 square kilometres!
It belongs to the Kuku Yalanji people, first nation Australians, who have been living in this beautiful territory
and environment for over 50,000 years. This rainforest is also named Kaba Kada,
meaning Rainy-Place, which accurately describes the wettest place in Australia
